Anna Sierkova, Yoga Teacher

My first experiments with yoga started when I was 18. I got a yoga book with asanas and lessons for every day. For a while I had motivation until I reached the end of the book. The next time I tried yoga with an instructor at a fitness club near my house. I was already 30 years old. And I really fell in love with yoga. 

I started practicing and going to the workshops and seminars of the best yoga teachers in Ukraine. I was doing Yoga 23, created by Andrey Sidersky. After a while I was asked to replace the yoga instructor and that’s when my teaching started. I studied human anatomy and physiology as well as methods of performing hatha yoga asanas. 

I continue to learn and find new and interesting things that enrich me and my practice. 

Siddhi cannot be achieved by wearing yogi’s clothes or by talking about yoga. “Only in tireless practice is the secret of success. That is certain, and there is no other,” as Swatmarama said in the Hatha Yoga Pradipika.
